ABOUT US

Contender CrossFit started in the trenches of Corpus Christi, TX with a small group of dedicated fitness enthusiasts in 2013. We now operate our main location off of Holly Road with 2 Gyms on our property; we run several fitness programs for all fitness levels including Group Fitness, Personal Training, and Individualized Programming.

In 2018 we had the opportunity to take ownership of WhiteCap CrossFit located on the North Padre Island. We look to expand upon WhiteCap CrossFit has already built on the island and look forward to meeting and growing with the Community there. WhiteCap CrossFit upholds the values of Contender CrossFit by fostering excellent programming, coaching and above all a supportive community! Learn more about our coaches and philosophy here!

FITNESS

Fitness is for anyone who is ready to start their fitness journey in a motivating environment where results are priority. Your experience will be in a group setting where focus will lie on decreasing body fat while increasing strength and mid-line stability. To achieve these goals you can expect to perform fundamental movements such as squats, lunges and pressing/pulling exercises as well as running, rowing and core stability work.

Performance Group Coaching

This group fitness program is geared towards more seasoned athletes. You’ll focus on strength and conditioning with a variety of movements that include back squats, front squats, DL, Olympic lifts, as well as plyometrics and gymnastics. It’s perfect for anyone eager to take their fitness to the next level.
